Service Opportunity
Volunteers are needed to help run Bingo Parties at St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Eighth grade students who need service hours for confirmation are especially encouraged to attend. Space is limited to 10 students
and 3 adults.
Want to Volunteer?
- Let Anthony Bradley, Director for Youth Ministry, know by 4:00 pm the Monday prior to the party.
- Once scheduled to volunteer, please plan to meet in the St. John’s Lobby at 1:30pm.
- Bring a small prize (see below) and a completed permission form with you (click here for the permission slip form).
- Plan to be picked up at 3:15pm.
Small Prize Donation
We also ask you to bring a small inexpensive gift as a prize for the bingo cart.
Gifts can be any of the following items:

- Plain Milk Chocolate
- Kleenex Tissues
- Packets of Potato chips
- Pretzels
- Plain Hershey bars
- Lollipops
- Rice Krispies Treats
- Socks
- Hand lotions/creams
- Toothbrushes/toothpaste/mouthwash
- Stuffed Toys (animals) - they like to give these to their visitors (grandchildren)
- Seasonal items to decorate or use in their rooms (NO GLASS)

We discourage the following items due to medical and dietary requirements:
- NO hard candy (Mints, Butterscotch etc.)
- NO Items with Nuts
- NO glass
- NOTHING sticky
